UP: It has become easier for the state government employees to get transfer, rules have been changed for both husband and wife to work

UP Cabinet decision: The UP government has given many facilities to the employees in the Transfer Policy-2025-26. In this, disabled employees have got special concessions. The transfer process has been made easier.

Many facilities have been given to the employees in the Transfer Policy-2025-26 approved by the Cabinet. In the policy, arrangements have been made to deploy the parents of mentally retarded and physically challenged children where their children can get better medical facilities. No post will remain vacant in any department in the 34 districts of the state having 100 aspiring development blocks.

After the transfer session, the transfer of Group A as well as Group B will be done with the approval of the Chief Minister through the departmental minister. M Devraj, Principal Secretary of the Appointment Department, also issued a government order regarding the transfer policy on Tuesday evening. The cutoff date for transfer will be considered as 31 March 2025. The desk of Group C employees who do not come under the purview will definitely be changed. Permission will have to be taken from the CM for transfer of Group A and B beyond the prescribed limit. Approval will have to be taken from the departmental minister if the transfer of Group C and D is more than 10 percent. The transfer of Group C and D will be done through the Manav Sampada Portal. After the transfer, the arrangement for relieving and taking over the charge will be online. Group A officers will not be transferred to their home district.

The transferred personnel will be relieved for the new location within a week without waiting for a replacement. After this, they will be considered automatically relieved. The Chief Minister will be authorized to make any amendment in the policy.
